Canada’s Wonderland’s first ever WinterFest is now open to everyone of all ages to enjoy warm holiday activities and a chance to meet old St. Nick and go for a little ice skating with your loved ones!

Welcome to Canada’s Wonderland Winterfest… Not really but…. Head on over to a Vaughan’s Winter Wonderland full of amazing attractions, rides, ice skating, decorating, singing, dancing.. oh god the list goes on and on. Let’s go for a little tour!
First off, Everyone’s invited to get into the holiday spirit with Santa Claus as well decorate cute little cookies in Mrs.Claus’s kitchen!

Children can decorate cute little mini christmas krafts in Sally Brown’s little house and make new memories as well as have fun making new friends.

The most famous “Royal Fountain” is now transformed into “Snowflake Lake” for everyone to enjoy ice skating with family and friends ranging throughout all ages. Skaters can enjoy 30 mins of skating for free or they can rent out skates for only 10$. You may book an reserved time to go skating online for only 10$!!

Who said you can’t have a party while still being in a Winter Wonderland?
Get ready to warm up and chill out at Canada’s Wonderland’s coolest party with the hottest holiday music around. It’s just for those ready to join a dance party, as music is played by wireless headphones that can only be heard by dancers. Put on a pair and dance for the best time of the year!

The park opens every Friday (5pm-10pm), Saturday and Sunday (3pm-9pm) and tickets are as low as 21.99 online. Beginning December 21, Winterfest will be opening everyday from weekdays starting at 5pm-10pm and weekends starting at 3pm-9pm. If you have the gold pass you can go unlimited times to this event, but if you a regular season pass you must purchase a ticket. Winterfest ends December 31.
This is Wonderland’s first time opening an event as such and many visitors are happy to hear about this event as the city of Vaughan is very limited when it comes to holiday events for the whole family to enjoy.

If you do not wish to go skating or even make arts and crafts… Then head on over to Wonderland’s Christmas Market full of amazing treats and souvenirs to purchase for your last minute christmas gifts for the whole family.
As everyone knows Canada’s Wonderland is known for being a rollar coaster destinations, rides such as Leviathan, Yukon Stricker and Behemoth will be closed for maintenance and safety purposes. In order to ensure everyone has a fun and cheerful holiday season, taller and faster coaster will unfortunately be closed.
But on the other hand, SOME RIDES WILL STILL BE OPEN!! Rides such as “Wilde Knight Mares”, “Boo Blaster” and “Klockwerks” will still be open to the public. Many of the rides in Charlie Brown’s Christmas Town will be open as well for young children to enjoy.
